Mae Sot • Thailand

Postcards for the branch foundation
NGO - "The Branch Foundation"
"The Branch Foundation was founded in July 2007. We are a small yet highly motivated and passionate New Zealand registered not-for-profit international organisation. We support organisations and communities across South-East Asia by providing project-based support for ethnic minorities, refugees, and underprivileged people. We work with organisations that are outside the scope of main humanitarian aid and support communities that otherwise would get little or no support. The community members of our partner organisations work with us to establish their most urgent needs. They are the agents of change, that strive for quality of well being, independence and stability; we simply support their quest for a brighter future. Our strategic goals on welfare/poverty relief, sustainable community development and education, with the long-term objective of self-reliance, are the focus of our work with our partner organisations. We pride ourselves for being accountable and transparent whilst also promoting environmental responsibility."

60 DOGS
I meet him in a disused house and we have talk about his amazing life. After few days and many hours of discussion, he told me :
" I live with sixty dogs, come to see my friend. "
You can see "the lunch time" when he deliver all dogs from caravans.
Thanks to you Joël, i hope you are alive.

"I am an inventor, I was a millionaire [...] I lost everything... Money, home, friends, ...
I can't trust nobody any more. Today my trust go for dogs. People call me The Dog-man."
Joël
